New 10 Count topic inspired by Chris Jericho

I'm still compiling the results from the last 10 Count but this quote from Chris Jericho got me thinking.

"I really dug the match with Goldust last night," Jericho wrote. "He is in the best shape of his life and is as good as anybody in WWE. Very underrated."

The 10 Count for this week coming up is Top 10 Most Underrated wrestlers currently in WWE.

Re: New 10 Count topic inspired by Chris Jericho

Top 10 Most Underrated wrestlers?
It's again hard to do this with the negative ban

1.) Kofi Kingston
I think Mo and Ballz summed it up perfectly when they completely dismissed the idea that Kofi ever feuded with Orton. Such a talent.
2.) Sheamus
What's that? He was just WWE Champion. True, but he really should have been more dominant and I can't tell whether WWE have given up on him or not.
3.) Christian
Needs a main event push for us to start taking him seriously.
4.) The Miz
Is it just me or his 'I am awesome' is almost getting like 'You smell what the rock...is cooking' with the crowds. And yet he is still a mid-carder.
5.)Chavo Guerrero
He needs to make me see the big picture.
6.)Vicky Guerrero
Man, the crowds hate her, HATE HER, so why don't they use her more? (Oh, just incase you nail me for negativity.I don't hate Vicky.)
7.)Santino
He's not that bad. He just needs some good material.
8.)William Regal
Give him the belt, even just for a month. He's earned it. I mean are there any other heels who are as good as Regal?
9.)Evan Bourne
I feel that they really should have brought the Cruiserweight title back for Evan as I can't see him above a US/IC reign, but still so much talent.
10.) Shelton Benjamin
We know he has the talent. If only someone would just sit with him for a few days and really work out a character for us to latch on to.

Re: New 10 Count topic inspired by Chris Jericho

10. Mark Henry
The World's Strongest Man has proven that he's not strong enough to carry MVP on his back, but that doesn't mean he couldn't once again be a decent mid-card monster heel.

9. Katie Lea
She has an emo/gothic look to her currently, which obviously allows her to stand out from the other WWE divas. Sadly, WWE won’t realize why utilizing this look (now) is a good thing, and they’ll like continue to deny her TV time because she’s not another generic blond who tans too much.

8. Finlay
ECW was the perfect brand to honor everything he’s done for wrestling on and off-screen by giving him the World title, if even just for a few weeks. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and now Finlay finds himself in the last solid, full-time run of his career, and his spotlight is fading fast.. by WWE’s apparent choice.

7. (Kung) Funaki
This guy always.. ALWAYS gets a pop from the crowd. Wrestling, announcing, picking his nose.. It doesn’t matter. The crowd loves this guy. Use him more, WWE!

6. Luke Gallows
While he still needs to work on his look (& figure out what he’s going to do when the Straight Edge Society has run it’s course), Gallows as himself or as Festus has always shown incredible ability in the ring. He’s a very versatile big man who can mix it up with wrestlers of all sizes. WWE should allow him to remind us of this more often!

5. Alicia Fox
She carries herself like a star but has pretty much been the sidekick of more recognized stars and/or  the WWE Womens/Divas Champion of the moment. If not always cast in the shadows of others, maybe she could become WWE’s next breakout diva.

4. Zack Ryder
These days, it’s hard to find a wrestler with a unique look or character, but wouldn’t you know it, you found one in Zack Ryder. His debut on Raw wasn’t anywhere near solid, but if given a little support from the backstage side of things, Ryder could be much bigger than his character’s ego..

3. Mike Knox
A brute who knows how to work with any size wrestler,.. An intellectual who can cut a unique promo.. A lumberjack that can grow a mean beard. If this were the late-80s era of wrestling, he would’ve main-evented against Hogan by now. Here in 2010, he’s lucky for TV time.

2. Goldust
One of the best single characters in WWE history, has been wasted for too long now. Even with the supposed PG rating, creative should easily be able to find something for our favorite androgynous character, heel or face. There’s enough comedy in WWE right now, let’s see how a serious Goldust could fare again.

1. Carlito
While his motivation seems low at times, when this guy is on fire, it’s hard to find a better heel. He knows the little things to get under people’s skins.. It’s sad that it’s been so long since he’s been allowed to showcase these skills. What’s it been, years now?

Re: New 10 Count topic inspired by Chris Jericho

before i do my list i want to say i love how funny it is that dave thinks a guy who walks down to the ramp with three title belts, is technically the highest ranked champion on raw, one of the most over characters in the company, and the star of nxt is underrated.....but anyway

10. Kane - Kane can still move with the better big men in the business, and when given time for a story still has one of the most fun gimmicks today.
9. MVP - He needs to stop being a face, the guy is a born heel and his in ring work isn't awful, but he works better as a heel
8. Evan Bourne - He could be the new Rey if they start booking him as a giant killer
7. Zeke - He's not horrible on the mic and is a pretty solid big man worker
6. Natalya - She's the best worker in the company and she is good on the mic, she needs to be utilized more
5 and 4. Cryme Tyme - I just love these guys, they are very charismatic and they work well as a team together, maybe pairing them back up with eve or giving them a third member (or actually using slam master j) would help even more
3 and 2. Hart Dynasty - If not simply because I miss more tag team wrestling, I'd almost would have rather seen Jimmy Hart come back to WWE to help these guys instead of wasting time on the Nasties
1. Zack Ryder - Woo. Woo. Woo. You know it.
