1. The challenger must always win a non-title
contest.
2. A victory in a match (on the show before a
pay-per-view) signals a loss on the PPV. And vice-versa.
3. The “home-town hero” must always lose (to
build sympathy/support).
4. If a wrestler does not receive a (full) intro
on TV, that wrestler will not win his/her contest.
5. Once a storyline is complete, one should
consider it to have never happened. Fans are expected to forget the
feud/outcome.
6. Tall, larger-than-average sized wrestlers must
receive a “push” upon debut. In most cases, this is an undefeated streak.
7. After every main-event, none of “the
competitors will ever be the same.”
8. Every main-event is the “biggest main-event
ever”.. until next week
9. Being fired never actually means one is fired.
10. If a new wrestler is debuting (or coming back
from a long absence), that wrestler will win. In the off-case this wrestler
does not, the wrestler can only lose by their decision (intentional DQ,
count-out, etc.)
11. A face’s health must be put in jeopardy
before a big PPV match.
12. Closed fist punches will never get a wrestled
disqualified. Ever.
13. If a wrestler ever made Vince McMahon money,
that wrestler’s child is assured a job later in life.
14. The competitors must always exchange blows at
the top of the ladder, at the end of every ladder match.
15. 2 out of 3 Falls contests must always make it
to the third fall.
16. A heel must hide behind the ropes at least
once per match.
17. If two wrestlers tag for over two weeks with
one-another, they have become best friends out of the ring.
18. Any main-event officiated by Earl Hebner will
involve a ref-bump.
19. A heel must never want to wrestle their
rival.. Until the face’s back is turned
20. Competitors must always compete outside of
the cell, in a Hell in a Cell match.
21. All employed referees must knock-out easily.
Refs that can spring back up (quickly) are not qualified for the position.
22. If the announcers mention that a certain
wrestler will win or lose, the opposite will happen.
23. A ref will never, ever
count to five on an illegal hold. They will count to four and then try to
break it!
24. A hardcore, no DQ
match will result in a spot in the crowd.
25. A referee will never
count out in a main event, they will always follow the two outside.
26. A wrestler will never,
ever retire.
27. In a ladder match one
of the competitors will always walk under the ladder on the ramp during there
ring entrance.
28. Every star must charge
or “hulk up” before a big/hot tag or a "refuse to lose"
finisher.
